The fact that the randomly correlated state has a self-averaging property means that, even for a single dot with such a nuclear state, the time evolution of the electron spin can be described by a statistical operator (mixed state) corresponding to an infinite temperature of the nuclear system. We stress, however, that this state is pure and possesses some additional properties (due to its entanglement) which cannot be described by a statistical operator corresponding to some temperature.
