    • As pointed out in Refs. 15 and 17 the temperature dependence of the lattice specific heat depends on tube radius and intertube coupling. Here, we consider a one-dimensional model wherein interactions and finite tube radii do not induce a dimensional crossover in the lattice or electronic degrees of freedom.
