The flask was immersed in an oil bath at the temperature indicated in the tables. Upon complete consumption of starting material as determined by TLC analysis, the reaction mixture was adsorbed onto silica and the biaryl product was isolated by column chromatography (hexanes/EtOAc). All the biphenyl products are known compounds
