    • Blomqvist G, Greitz D, (unpubl. data). We applied a two-compartmental analysis on data from Reed and Woodbury [52], who injected radioactive albumin intravenously and measured the tracer concentration in blood, brain, and cerebrospinal fluid in rats. We found the transport rate of albumin from brain tissue to blood to be about 100 times faster than that from blood to brain tissue.
