44. The duration of stay of the clusters in the heating cell (stability region) was determined by alternately ionizing them with focused laser pulses at the entrance and the exit of the heating cell. Afterwards the time was measured that the created ion packet needed to reach the ionization volume of the TOF spectrometer.
