    • Other studies on Triton X-100/liposome interactions have found that the partition coefficient is composition dependent, indicating nonideal mixing (De La Maza, A.; Parra, J.L. Biochera. J. 1994, 303, 907). However, the variation of the partition coefficient in the relevant concentration regime was found, in the study, to be rather marginal. Therefore, for comparative purposes, Figure 8 serves well to display the large difference of bilayer perturbation between F127 and Triton X-100.
