    • The ellipsometric thickness of SAMs of 1+2 was measured to be (20.1 ± 1.0) Å. After incubation of this SAM in PBS (pH 7.4) containing biotin-blocked-AB, an increase of (60.6 ± 1.5) Å was obtained. This increase may indicate the nonspecific interaction of biotin-blocked-AB with the surface.
