    • Preliminary DFT-MO calculations on archetypal sesquifulvalene complexes confirm this suggestion. The LL- and DA-CT transitions do not occur from this HOMO to the LUMO but from HOMO-3 and HOMO-1 to LUMO+2, respectively (M. Prosenc and J. Heck, in preparation).
