    • An 80 atom unit cell was chosen after considering the size effects of the unit cell. We calculated the (10,0) CNT of a 120 atom (12 layer) unit cell. We found that the change of the binding energy was less than 0.05 eV/ atom on increasing the size of the unit cell.
