    • fBu moieties should not form hydrogen-bondings in the aggregated structures, because (i) intermolecular linkages with a C7-substituent afforded another type of aggregates giving different absorption spectra [18], (ii) the C7-formyl groups of BChI e as well as its model compounds were not involved in the intermolecular linkages [19, 20], and (iii) no ester carbonyl group at the C17-propionate formed a hydrogen bond in the aggregates [12,16].
