Analysis of the L1-deficient mouse phenotype reveals cross-talk between Sema3A and L1 signaling pathways in axonal guidance
-
This study provides the first functional explanation for the defects of the corticospinal tract observed in human patients with L1 mutations. By showing that L1 is a component of the Sema3A receptor complex, it suggests that L1 mutations may disrupt Sema3A signalling in the growth cones.
