28. Because of the finite-size level repulsion effect, the DOS vanishes exactly at E = 0. However, the integrated DOS at the low-energy region |E| ∼ 0.0005 saturates to a constant in this case, suggesting the unimportance of the level-repulsion gap in the large L limit.
