21. That impurity-induced resonances may not lie exactly midgap in the absence of particle-hole (or band) symmetry is not new, as has been pedagogically reviewed by R. Joynt [J. Low Temp. Phys. 109, 811 (1997)], but we believe that the importance of the parameter (Formula presented) and the possible existence of a crossover behavior at a critical value (Formula presented) have not been reported previously.
