23. Ideally, the imaginary component yγ that goes into the boundary condition eq. (5) corresponds to the pair-breaking time for quasi-particles in the Al reservoir, while yγ in eq. (1) is related to decoherence in the proximity coupled normal metal. However, both lengths are expected to be temperature-dependent, and we have chosen to use a single parameter for both to minimize the number of fitting parameters in the theory.
24. min, the calculated curves deviate from the experimental values, due to the effect of electron-electron interactions on the proximity effect [3] which are not taken into account in our simulations.
