The (Formula presented) recordings were drawn from Division of Cardiology of Emergency Resque (Kazan, Tatarstan) congestive heart-failure database comprising seven records from normal patients (age: 26–59 years; mean 45 years) and 112 records from severe congestive heart disease patients (age: 25–69 years, mean 53 years). The recordings, which form a standard database for evaluting the merits of various measures for identificatying heart disease, were made with a Holter monitor, digitized at a fixed value of 128 Hz. We have used the short-time series of (Formula presented) intervals
