ASCRS survey on foldable IOLs requiring explantation or secondary intervention, 1998
-
Mamalis N: ASCRS survey on foldable IOLs requiring explantation or secondary intervention, 1998. J Cataract Refract Surg 2000, 26:766-772. •• This survey was mailed to all members of the ASCRS to assess complications that required explantation or secondary intervention with foldable intraocular lenses. This survey assessed preoperative patient symptoms as well as reasons for removal. The material and design of the explanted lenses were tabulated. In addition, postoperative visual outcomes and secondary complications were assessed.
