    • It might appear more straightforward to define Γ using the velocity fluctuation distribution. However, the velocity distribution in an equilibrium system defines the ratio of the temperature to a mass, and in our system, the bubbles are massless. This is why we have chosen a definition of Γ that reduces simply to the temperature in an equilibrium system.
