    • Theoretically the χ-parameter of a polymer in a good (athermal) solvent adopts a value of zero. In practice one usually finds for this parameter values of 0.4-0.5. In this work we take the theoretical limiting values of O (good solvent) and 0.5 (θ-solvent). See also: Taylor, P. L.; Yu, Y.; Wang, X. Y. J. Chem. Phys. 1996, 105, 1237.
