    • 13 Most polyelectrolyte gels are weakly charged, for which the Katchalsky cell model leads to the conclusion that the electrostatic screening length is of the order of the Debye length in the high-salt limit. The crossover between weakly and strongly charged polyelectrolytes occurs at B ≅ u/A.
