    • We have also simulated the thermodynamic properties on the use of PCAM; it shows all blends are miscible through the compositional range. However, we will not discuss the thermodynamic properties in detail here.

    • In the phenolic/phenoxy blend, both free OH group absorption intensities in their parents are weaker than in 75/25 phenolic/ phenoxy blend. On the contrary, both free OH group absorption intensities in pure phenolic and PVA are stronger than their blend. The effect of OH group of modifier on IR spectrum can be neglected for qualitative description of the interaction presents within phenolic rich region.
