    • Type 1 shungite has had almost atmospheric pressure and temperatures close to normal, and shows approximately spherical globules assembled in thin (ca 40 nm) and long (ca 10 micron) sheets. Type 2 has undergone high temperature and oxidizing conditions, which brought about stretched ellipsoidal globules with a strictly common orientation in relatively thick (ca 200 nm) and narrow (ca 4 micron) laminae. Types 3 and 4 have undergone high pressure, which apparently created ordered stack regions of about 2 micron in size and arranged in flaky way. Globules became flattened and ellipsoidal.
