A spherical surface testing with shearing interferometer using fringe scanning detection method
-
T. Yatagai and T. Tanou, "A spherical surface testing with shearing interferometer using fringe scanning detection method," Opt. Eng. 23, 357-360 (1984). Y. M. He received his BSE degree in 1982 from Liaoning Engineering Technological University and his MSME and PhD degrees in 1985 and 1988, respectively, from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Postdoctoral Work Station of Xi'an Jiaotong University from 1988 to 1990. He was an associate professor with the Department of Mechanics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) from 1990 to 1997. He was a visiting scientist at National University of Singapore from 1997 to 1999. He is currently a professor in the Department of Mechanics at HUST. His research interests are interferometry metrology, digital image processing, and measurement techniques with computer vision. C. J. Tay obtained his BSc degree in 1974 and his PhD degree in 1979 from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. He worked for a few years as a design and development engineer with an industrial fan manufacturing company in the United Kingdom. In 1981 he joined the National University of Singapore, where he is currently an associate professor. His research interests are experimental stress analysis, ootical techniaues, and nondestructive testing. He is a professional engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineers, Singapore. He has carried out numerous consultancy projects in the area of stress analysis and has been consulted widely by the local industries. H. M. Shang received his BEng degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Singapore in 1970. As a commonwealth scholar, he received his MSc degree in production engineering and his PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Aston, Birmingham, United Kingdom, in 1974 and joined the National University of Singapore where he is currently a professor. He has drafted several Singapore standards specifications for the Standards Council of Singapore. His research interests include shape measurement of thin shells, sheet metal forming, nondestructive testing, photomechanics, and experimental stress analysis.
