    • Tested lipases were as follows: Lipase from Pseudomonas cepacia (Lipase PS, Amano). Lipase PS used in acetylations was immobilised on Hyflo Super Cell according to Ref. 21. Pig liver acetonic powder type II (PLAP) was from Aldrich. Lipase from Candida cylindracea type VII (CCL) was from Sigma.

    • note
    • 16 performed on compounds 2a-5a showed that their acetylation occurred at the alcoholic hydroxyl but the reaction rate was relatively lower (2-3 days). The deacetylation of 4d and 5d was comparably low and involved the phenolic ester. The deacetylation of 2d and 3d did not occur.
