1, this paper showed the iron-sulfur protein (ISP) in situ and demonstrated that the extrinsic domain could occupy different positions in the complex. This provided evidence for a novel mechanism of electron transfer by domain movement of the ISP. The main subject matter is the chicken heart mitochondrial complex with and without inhibitors, but additional information on the structures of the rabbit complex and two different forms of the beef complex is also given, each with a different position for the ISP.
