J Infect Dis 1996, 173:1347-1353. The authors found a strong association between Km(1)-negative allotypes and response to pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine in white, HIV-infected men. They did not find an association with Gm(23)-positive allotypes or any other Gm allotypes.

They found no association in a large Ashkenazic family, nor did they find any association with Km allotypes.
