A study demonstrating that granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) administered in vivo enhances the antifungal activity of circulating neutrophils, particularly against Aspergillus and Rhizopus. These results suggest that granulocytes collected from G-CSF stimulated donors may be of increased value in the treatment of patients with fungal infection.
