13. SQR from MOKE is obtained from a minor loop and the penetration depth of MOKE signal is about 300 A beneath the film surface. These explain the slightly different behaviors in the two SQR curves in Fig. 5.

15. It is believed that unless phase transformation or atomic order occurs, Δρ does not vary with cold work; R.M. Bozorth, Phys. Rev. 70 (1946) 923. However, we feel that if the grain size becomes sufficiently large (when abnormal grain growth occurs), the texture may add anisotropy to Δρ, like the single-crystal case.
16. The Hall resistivity ρH maybe affected by magnetostrains the same way as the magnetoresistivity data. However, because of the four-way procedure in measuring pH, and PH is an odd function of H, the magneto-stress effect gets canceled out.
