Here, the magnetization loss is defined as the ac loss in the specimen which is supplied by a power supply for external applied ac magnetic fields, this loss is measured by the attached saddle coil. On the other hand, the dynamic resistance loss is needed to be measured by the voltage tops and is supplied by a dc power supply. The total loss is the sum of these losses.
