The authors recommend evaluation of "antibody decay" for follow-up.

Obstet Gynecol 1996, 174:589-597. This meta-analysis of seven randomized controlled trials (1989 to 1994) of antibiotic therapy showed a 68% reduction in the risk of neonatal sepsis and 50% reduction in the risk of intraventricular hemorrhage.
