    • Attempts to identify the superlattice of the intercalated atoms by electron diffraction was unsuccessful so far. It is likely that the low concentration of the alkali-metal atoms, and the large repeat unit distance, which entails diffraction spots near the central bright ring of the electron microscope beam prevents such measurements.
