27. Reaction of crotyltin 14 with halides presented a total γ regioselectivity which was explained by a less hindered 6-membered cyclic transition, state during the transmetallation step. When using triflates as substrates, in polar solvents, an open transition state is likely to occur thus explaining the possible competition between an α and γ transmetallation to the palladium.
