23. A small amount of decomposition (<5%) is also observed. The signals for the decomposition products increase upon prolonged reaction times and are also observed when pure complex 3 is thermolyzed independently (vide infra). Several related aryl products have been shown to be moderately thermally unstable in other instances (vide infra).
