    • 12 (b) NMR spectra of 1 in the presence of a 5-10-fold excess of olefin display very broad resonances. We suggest the existence of an equilibrium between 1 and the corresponding olefin complex, the equilibrium favoring on the latter, as an explanation of the slowing of the reaction rate in the presence of olefin.
