    • 1H NMR spectra. Unambiguous reasons for these differences have not been identified so far, but all experiments reported here (spectroscopic analyses of the peptide, complexation with copper(II), and spectroscopic analyses of the mono-and dinuclear copper(II) compounds) have been done on a pure fraction of 22 mg of PatN that was combined from three independent cyclization/purification procedures.
