13. We find it convenient to work in atomic units to compute energies, etc. Relevant conversions are (Formula presented) for electric fields and 2.5418 D = 1 a.u. for dipole moments. For polarizabilities, 1 (Formula presented) and, of course, 27.2 eV = 1 a.u. is the Hartree atomic unit of energy.
