11. The interface composition was estimated using the method described by Muraki et al., J. Cryst. Growth 127, 546 (1993) assuming a segregation ratio R = 0.8. The electron confinement energies for the 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 ML samples are then calculated to be 4, 14, and 30 meV.
