    • This is an important distinction between DMH’s and ordinary DMS quantum wells with Mn-based confining barriers, such as those studied by Gaj et. al [Phys. Rev. B 50, 5512 (1994)], where only the tails of the wave functions sample the region containing Mn. In those systems the profile of the Mn-based regions seems to be relevant for the interpretation of experiments.
