7. The curvature of the contours is not a consequence of the resolution of the technique, which is better than the pixel size in the images shown in Fig. 2. The reason for the asymmetry of the vertical field lines between the left and right sides of the solenoidal distributions in Fig. 2, which is almost certainly not an imaging artifact, is not understood at present.
