20. In the experiment by U. Wilhelm et al., the strong interdot interaction was attained by fabricating the dots on top of each other.
21. It is in fact the satellites that are split but these are of similar origin and character, e.g., as a function of temperature, as the actual Kondo resonance at Fermi level of the reservoirs.
