The authors put forth a theory relating JNA growth into the pterygomaxillary space to the displacement theory of midfacial growth.

The authors demonstrate that properly selected patients may be successfully treated with endoscopic resection and may avoid the increased morbidity associated with open procedures.

The authors propose that subtotal endoscopic resection of select JNAs with intracranial penetration may be preferable to traditional craniofacial techniques.

The authors discuss their inclusion criteria for endoscopic resection of JNA and review their results. The written description of the technique is excellent.
