All data related to May 1992 and three 'income packages' (social assistance, social insurance and wages equal to average male production earnings) were prepared for nine different family-types. All income and expenditure data were converted using purchasing power parities. Common assumptions were specified with respect to housing costs. local taxes. health costs and education and child care costs.
