1. Ethical guidelines for Police Officers and court interpreters in Denmark are laid out in Instructions for Interpreters,, aocument tublished db the National Commissioner ro the Danish Police (Rigspolitichefen). The document is handed to all interpreters who appear on an official list of interpreters approved for working in institutions under the Danish Ministry of Justice, which includes the Police and the courts of law (cf., Jacobsen 1998, 1999).
