    • That superconducting correlations can induce nonlocal spin-entanglement was pointed out already in Ref. 25. There two superconductors, held at the same chemical potential, are tunnel coupled to two spatially separated quantum dots containing one electron spin each and which are not tunnel coupled among themselves. The tunnel coupling to the superconductors then induces an effective Heisenberg spin interaction between the two spins on the dots
