On the other hand, in (Muzeum Narodowe w Gdańsku, Gdańsk, 115–21) Jerzy Litwin has published an account of a ‘small receptacle resembling those used as a censer’, dated in the early fifteenth century, formerly in St Mary's church in Gdańsk and now in the National Museum of Gdańsk, made of copper, gold-plated and in the form of a vessel. Jerzy Litwin suggests this is a model of a hulc and the photograph of the model from the stern accompanying the paper showing the run of the strakes clearly defined certainly strongly supports his argument
