The most important changes of the reform are that students will start school at the age of six (instead of seven), they will receive ten years of schooling (instead of nine), and a new curriculum will be in place. The reform’s objective is that all children will receive an education that equips them to meet the challenges of the future; it is hoped that they will grow up in an environment that generates self-confidence and security.
