53. Visser’s [21] study was conducted via a survey in early 1994. A sample of 50 firms was randomly selected from the Gamarra cluster. The control group of dispersed firms were located in both high and low-income areas of the city of Lima. Forty firms from each area were randomly selected. The respondent rate of the survey was 79% (equivalent to 103 firms out of the 130 firms).
