X-ray analysis: yellowish needles, orthorhombic, space group P212121; a=7.9775(3), b=15.0089(5), c=17.2984(8) Å; α=90.00, β=90.00, γ=90.00; V=2071.20(14) Å3; T=173(2) K; Z=4, μ(CuKα)=0.731 mm-1; θ range for data collection: 3.90 to 62.81, 5650 reflections measured; 2989 independent reflections (Rint=0.0435). The final R1 values were 0.0422 [I>=2σ (I)]. The final wR2 values were 0.0995 [I>=2σ (I)]. The final R1 values were 0.0512 (all data). The final wR2 values were 0.1064 (all data). The goodness of fit on F2 was 1.083. Flack parameter=0.1(3). Data collection was performed in a SMART CCD by using graphite monochromated radiation (λ=1.54178 Å) under low temperature (nitrogen gas). The structure of compound 2 was solved by the direct methods (SHELXTL version 5.1) and refined by full-matrix least-squares on F2. Crystallographic data for compound 2 have been deposited with the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre as supplementary publication no. CCDC-1022149.
