14. One can consider another type of UV completion by introducing a new electroweak lepton doublet with the same quantum number as the SM Higgs doublet. The model is not a Higgs portal DM model but is interesting on its own. Detailed study of this model will be presented in a separate publication.
15. This phenomenon is similar to the Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani mechanism in quark flavor physics.
