    • The specification for palladium in the drug substance (AMG 925 hydrochloride) was set to less than 100 ppm for clinical use considering that the permitted daily palladium exposure is 100 ug/day (Guidelines for Elemental Impurities, Q3D, FDA, July 26) based on chronic use, and the maximum projected QD dose for Ph1 for this material was 1 g/day.
