1. Dr. Soneira reviews the LG OLED display and compares it with plasma and liquidcrystal displays. See: http://www.displaymate.com/LG-OLED-TV-ShootOut-1. htm. He uses the term "perfect" to describe several of its modes of peration. This same fine behavior is shown in both displays in this article.
